What are the side effects of ParaGard Allwormer for Dogs?
ParaGard has a wide margin of safety for all sizes and breeds of dogs. Side effects are rare when ParaGard is administered according to the label directions. Should I give ParaGard Allwormer for Dogs and HeartGard30 PLUS to my dog together?
ParaGard Allwormer for Dogs may be included in a treatment program with a heartworm prevention product such as HeartGard30 PLUS. See product labels for full claim details and directions for use.
How often should I give ParaGard Allwormer for Dogs to my dog?
Puppies: Treat according to weight at 2, 4, 8 and 12 weeks of age
- thereafter every 3 months.
Adult Dogs: Treat every 3 months.
Breeding Female: Treat during the mating period, during the gestation period one week before birth and 3 to 4 weeks after birth.
Dogs in hydatid areas should be treated every 6 weeks.
Where whipworm is a problem, treat every 6-8 weeks after 3 months of age. See product label for full claim details and directions for use.
Does ParaGard Allwormer for Dogs treat or prevent heartworm?
ParaGard Allwormer for Dogs is not effective in the treatment or prevention of heartworm. For heartworm prevention, use NexGard SPECTRA for Dogs or HeartGard30 PLUS. See product labels for full claim details and directions for use.
